Our enrolment policy will not allow a child under the age of 16 to be enrolled at the Practice without a Parent/Guardian enrolment.
 

PATIENT RESULTS

At Torbay Medical Centre:

  • We contact patients with the results of urgent tests as soon as possible.

  • Patients are contacted with all significant test results or if any follow-up is needed.

  • Normal results may be texted to patients.

  • Warfarin anticoagulant patients are contacted by the practice by the end of the same working day for their INR results and warfarin anticoagulant dosage advice.

  • Patients are welcome to phone the nurse regarding their results.

Flu Vaccines

 

Protect yourself and your whānau this winter by getting your 2026 flu vaccination at our medical centre. Vaccinations are available from 1 April, and bookings are open now so you can secure a time that suits you. Funded (free) flu vaccines are available for eligible groups, including people aged 65 and over, pregnant people, those with certain long-term health conditions, and tamariki with specific medical needs. For those not eligible for funding, our standard flu vaccine is available for $27. We also offer an advanced flu vaccine option, designed to provide enhanced protection for older adults and those seeking broader coverage, for $45.
